About Christina
What sets me apart from other therapists is that I want to know the WHY. Why is your range of motion restricted? Why are you feeling discomfort? Why does the left feel different from the right? It is in this search that I can uncover which muscles to address and from there, work to unwind the fascial bands and muscle tissue that are affected.
I also am a certified canine massage therapist. Working with the dogs as they went through rehab sparked an interest in studying gait and posture on a deeper level. This naturally carried over to my work with people. This study has sharpened my ability to assess how my clients move, stand and carry themselves.
I have been practicing massage therapy for over 20 years. l believe that a massage should be something you look forward to-effective, therapeutic, and never painful. Profound results are possible through deep body work that respects the body’s limits.
When I’m not in the massage room, you’ll usually find me teaching or practicing at Bikram Yoga Fremont—yes, the hot yoga! I also love exploring the city with my husband, who’s a personal trainer. We stay active and have plenty of fun adventuring with our two Great Danes, Octavius and Gabriella.
